Who can forget the miraculous two days spent with Wali Zahid in the skies of learning with a wealth of lifelong knowledge and experience I have taken away with me for the rest of my life!
It was a few years ago when I took a two-day Y-WIL (Young Women in Leadership) module with Wali in our Young Professional Women Leadership Program in Islamabad.
Wali’s training not only helped me in my professional life by enhancing my vision to understand and unleash the complex vertices of learning pyramids within me, but also backed me in my personal life by accurately applying the required skills at the right time with the right approach: not to give up, but to win!
Be it a battle in the professional field, or somewhere managing the house or executing my role as a woman on the canvas of different responsibilities, Wali’s training transformed me to understand and analyse the various aspects of the big picture.
And then, thoughtfully apply the required skill to hit the nail on the head, just to step ahead, take it and lead it. It has worked miracles for me!
As they say: “Rise and rise again until lambs become lions.”
Thank you Wali Zahid for changing my approach from a poor, goofy lamb to a brave, leading lion!
From a depriving Baluchistan to a developed USA, I am still making my way ahead… it’s a nonstop journey! And your teaching will remain with me.
